SalesNexus allows you to quickly create visual reports directly from the Dashboard using Nexi’s AI-powered reporting tools. Reports help you analyze key business data such as pipeline performance, opportunity stages, contact growth, and overall sales activity.

1. Open the Dashboard
To begin creating reports, navigate to the Dashboard.
Steps
In the left sidebar, click the Dashboard icon.
The dashboard displays panels that act as visual reports.
These panels can display data such as:
Opportunities by stage
Pipeline value by goal
Contacts created over time
You can add additional reports using the + button at the top of the dashboard.
2. Start Creating a New Report
Click the + button next to the Dashboard title to open the report generator.
This opens the Create a New Report (AI-powered) window.
Inside this window you will see:
Your prompt field – where you describe the report you want
Quick examples – suggested prompts for common reports
Generate Preview button – generates chart options
Preview section – displays report visualizations
3. Describe the Report You Want
In the Your prompt field, type a description of the report you want Nexi to generate.
Example prompts include:
Show how many accounts have been created within the last 30 days
Pipeline value by stage for the last 90 days
Sales by month with year-over-year comparison
Top customers by revenue and conversion rate
You can also click the Quick example to automatically populate the prompt field.
4. Generate a Report Preview
After entering your prompt, click Generate Preview.
Nexi will generate several visualization options such as:
Metric card (totals or counts)
Bar charts (time-based trends)
Pie charts (data distribution)
You can review these options before deciding which report to add to the dashboard.
5. Create the Report
After reviewing the preview:
Select the visualization you want.
Click Create Report.
The report will be added directly to your Dashboard panels.
6. Create Reports Using Nexi Suggestions
You can also create reports using Nexi AI suggestions from the right-side Nexi panel.
These suggestions come in two levels:
Advanced Suggestions
Basic Suggestions
Advanced Suggestions
Advanced suggestions typically include more complex reports that combine multiple metrics or analyze trends across campaigns or pipelines.
To access them:
Open the Nexi AI panel from the right toolbar.
Click the Advanced Suggestions icon.
Examples of advanced suggestions include:
Campaign Engagement Trends Over Time
Opportunity Stage Conversion Rates
SLA Breach Analysis by Pipeline
These reports often show deeper insights such as:
Marketing engagement patterns
Pipeline bottlenecks
Campaign performance over time
You can:
Click Preview to view the report
Click Create to add it to your dashboard
Basic Suggestions
Basic suggestions generate simpler reports focused on a single metric or dataset, such as counts or stage distributions.
To access them:
Open the Nexi AI panel from the right toolbar.
Click the Basic Suggestions icon.
Examples of basic suggestions include:
Opportunities by Current Stage
Monthly Opportunities Created
Contacts Created per Day
Top Contacts by Notes Count
Task Items Created per Day
These reports are useful for quickly understanding:
Activity levels
Opportunity distribution
Contact growth trends
As with advanced suggestions:
Click Preview to review the visualization.
Click Create to add it to your dashboard.
7. Manage Dashboard Panels
Dashboard reports appear as panels that can be organized and customized.
Using the right-side toolbar you can:
Add new dashboard panels
Access Nexi AI tools
Manage dashboard layout
View notifications
You can also rearrange panels directly within the dashboard layout by dragging them.
Tips for Better Reports
Be specific in your prompts (include metrics and timeframe).
Use Generate Preview to compare chart types.
Combine custom prompts and Nexi suggestions for deeper insights.
