SMS templates in SalesNexus allow you to create reusable text messages for campaigns and automation. Follow the steps below to create an SMS template from start to finish.
Step 1: Navigate to Templates and Click Add (+)
From the left-hand navigation menu, click Templates.
At the top of the page, click the + (plus) button to create a new template.
Step 2: Enable Template Mode and Select SMS
In Campaign Details:
Check This is a templated campaign
Open the Media Type dropdown
Select SMS
Step 3: Enter the Template Name
In the Template Name field, enter a name for your SMS template.
This name is used internally for organization.
Step 4: Select an SMS Integration
Use the SMS Integration dropdown to choose the integration that will send the message. SalesNexus supports two integration types:
RingCentral – Ideal if your organization already uses RingCentral for phone and messaging services, allowing SMS to be sent directly through your existing RingCentral setup.
Twilio – A flexible SMS provider commonly used for programmatic messaging, well-suited for teams that want scalable, API-driven text messaging.
Select the integration that matches your account configuration to ensure messages are delivered successfully.
Step 5: Add SMS Content
Scroll to the Content section and enter your message in the SMS Text field.
You can use merge tokens such as:
[first_name][last_name][email][phone]
Step 6: Save the SMS Template
Once your SMS message is complete, click Save in the top-right corner to store the template.
Step 7: Exit Template Mode (Optional)
If you plan to send the SMS immediately, uncheck This is a templated campaign.
This converts the template into a sendable SMS campaign.
Step 8: Set Sending Date and Segmentation
Configure the following:
Sending Date & Time
Segmentation (select or create a segment)
Step 9: Send or Save
When everything is ready:
Click Send to launch the SMS campaign
Or click Save to send it later

You’ve successfully created an SMS template in SalesNexus. SMS templates make it easy to reuse messaging, personalize outreach, and scale communication efficiently.
