This checklist focuses only on items that do not migrate or require manual review or reconfiguration.
Saved Lookups → Lookups
Status: Does not migrate. Must be recreated manually.
In Classic SalesNexus, you saved filtered contact views called Saved Lookups. In the new system these are simply called Lookups and must be rebuilt.
What Happens During Migration
Classic Saved Lookups do not migrate.
Nexi automatically creates some system lookups (such as “All” and “Demo”) for new accounts, but these are not your Classic Saved Lookups.
How to Recreate Lookups
Navigate to Contacts.
Click the Lookup (magnifying glass) icon in the right-side floating toolbar.
Click the + icon to create a new lookup.
Name your lookup.
-
Define filter conditions:
Entity
Field
Operator
Value
Customize visible columns.
Click Save.
The lookup will appear in your Lookup panel and can be applied at any time.
Repeat this process for each Saved Lookup from your Classic account.

New Nexi accounts receive default boards and panels for common roles (Executive, Sales Manager, Sales/Account Manager, Marketing, etc.).
These are new defaults, not copies of your Classic layouts.

Click the Boards icon in the right-side toolbar.
Click + and enter a board name.
Click OK.
Add panels to the board as needed.
How to Recreate Panels

Click the Panels icon in the right-side toolbar.
Select the Custom Panels tab.

Settings & Integrations → New Settings & Integrations
Status: Must be reconfigured.
Classic email, calling, and API integrations do not migrate automatically.
What Happens During Migration
Email integrations (Gmail / Outlook / SMTP) do not migrate.
Calling integrations (such as RingCentral) must be reconnected.
API keys and webhooks must be recreated.
User settings like time zone should be reviewed.
How to Reconfigure
Go to Settings → Integrations → Email.
Select your email provider (Gmail or Outlook) and re-authorize.
If using custom mail servers, re-enter IMAP/SMTP credentials.
Reconnect calling integrations under Settings → Integrations → Calling.
-
If you use the API:
Navigate to Settings → API
Generate new API keys
Re-enable integrations
Finally, confirm time-related settings in your Profile / Account settings.
Best practice:
Configure your email integration first, since it enables messaging and activity tracking inside Nexi.

Domain → Domains
Status: Does not migrate. Must be reconfigured manually.
Your sending domain configuration from Classic SalesNexus does not migrate. You must re-add and validate your domain in Nexi.
What Happens During Migration
Classic sending domains and DNS settings are not carried over.
-
Nexi introduces improved domain authentication including:
SPF
DKIM
DMARC
DNS validation is more flexible and can coexist with other services.
Forms-only customers can verify domain ownership without requiring full email DNS configuration.
How to Reconfigure Your Domain
Navigate to Domains.
Add your sending domain (example:
yourcompany.com).-
Configure DNS records including:
Ownership TXT/CNAME
SPF
DKIM
DMARC
MX
Run Domain Validation and confirm all checks pass.
For Forms-Only Customers
At minimum you must configure the ownership TXT/CNAME record.
SPF, DKIM, and DMARC are recommended for email sending but not required for form usage alone.

Tasks, Activities & Notes
Status: Migrates. Verify data integrity.
Tasks, Activities, and Notes should migrate automatically. Migration improvements ensure:
Completed tasks remain visible
Historical activities retain correct timestamps
Notes remain attached to the correct contacts
What to Verify
Notes
Open several contact records and confirm that notes appear under the correct contact or company.
Tasks
Check your Tasks list and confirm:
Open tasks migrated with correct due dates and assignments
Completed tasks appear under the Completed filter
Completed tasks remain visible on the calendar
Activities
Check the Activities panel for several contacts and verify:
Historical calls and meetings appear
Email sends appear as email sent activities
No duplicate activity records exist
If You Previously Re-Ran Migration
The system now updates records instead of duplicating them when migration is re-run.
If your migration occurred before this improvement and you see duplicates, contact Support for assistance.
