To be able to set up VoIP in SalesNexus with GoTo Connect (formerly known as Jive) you first need to ensure you have an account with GoTo Connect.
- Head over to the GoTo Connect website to choose a plan and set up an account.
- Once you have your GoTo Connect account, follow the instructions below to configure your Click to Call in SalesNexus
Set up Click to Call with Goto Connect in SalesNexus:
Step 1: Log on to your SalesNexus database
Step 2: Click on Settings (the gear button on the top right portion of the navigation bar); then, click on the "My Settings" button
Step 3: Select "Voip Settings" at the bottom of the page
Step 4: Click on "Jive" in the options that appear; then, click on "Jive Settings" beside it
Step 5: Fill in the details
GoTo Connect was formerly known as Jive. Please put in details for your GotTo Connect account.
Your Jive Client ID will be a set of numbers and letters in the following format:
xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
Step 6: Click "save".
The process above will need to be followed for each user that needs to make calls using Jive from within SalesNexus.
You are now ready to begin using Click to Dial from your SalesNexus database.
Follow the steps below to complete your first call with SalesNexus.
Use GoTo Connect to complete your first Click to Call in SalesNexus
Step 1: Select a contact you would like to call
Step 2: From the contact record, click "call" next to the number you wish to dial
Step 3: GoTo Connect will dial you on your VoIP (computer) phone - answer and select 1 to complete the call
NOTE: This requires you to have "Prompt" set to "Yes"
