Why Cleanse?
We want to make sure that the lists you use are clean of as many spam traps as possible. To ensure the highest deliverability and protect your sender reputation, we have List Validation turned on for all databases. This service looks at any newly imported contacts and cross-checks them against known spam trap databases. By proactively identifying and filtering out potential spam traps, we keep your good name off the major spam filter programs and allow you to get your message to the people you want to reach.
We currently have 3 options for managing and validating your email lists:
A. Purchase validation services directly through SalesNexus
-Cleanse Lookup with SalesNexus
B. Cleanse email addresses using your EmailOversight credentials
-Cleanse Lookup with Email Oversight
C. Delete the selected list(s)
A. Purchase Through SalesNexus
Step 1: Go to Settings
Step 2: Go to Add Contacts
Step 3: Go to Manage Imported Lists
Step 4: Click 'Purchase Through SalesNexus'.
Step 5: Click 'Select' and choose from Selected List(s) or Entire Database.
Step 6: Click 'Start Cleansing'.
Step 7: Click Next.
Step 8: Read and confirm this action.

Step 1: Go to Contacts
Step 2: Click on View Lookup and create your lookup
Step 3: Click on the Cleanse Emails button
Step 4: Choose the "Purchase through SalesNexus" through SalesNexus
Step 5: Click Next
Step 6: Confirm the details of the purchase
Step 7: Click "Proceed" to submit the request
Step 8: You should receive a confirmation that it was submitted successfully, you should also get an email of the confirmation.
Step 9: Once you have verified the emails, click on Edit Layout
Step 10: Add the Email Validation Result field to the Fields to View column
Step 11: Once you click SAVE, you should see "verified" under the Email Validation Result column
*Only add in the Email Validation Result field AFTER you have verified the emails in the cleanse lookup
B. Cleanse Email Addresses Using your EmailOversight Credentials
Add https://logon.salesnexus.com to your domain.
Step 1: Go to Settings
Step 2: Go to Add Contacts
Step 3: Go to Manage Imported Lists
Step 4: Click 'Use My EmailOversight Account'
Step 5: Enter API Key and Assign to List ID
Step 6: Click 'Select' and choose from Selected List(s) or Entire Database.

Step 7: Click Start Cleansing.
Step 8: Click 'GO' button to confirm.
Step 9: Go to your EmailOversight account and see the result.

Step 9: Wait for the confirmation email
*Cleanse Lookup Feature with EmailOversight
Step 1: Go to Contacts
Step 2: Click on View Lookup and create your lookup
Step 3: Click on the Cleanse Emails button
Step 4: Choose between using your EmailOversight account, or purchasing through SalesNexus
Step 5: Click Next
Step 6: If you have an EmailOversight account: put in your API Key and List ID, Click Proceed
Step 7: Click GO to submit the request
Step 8: You should receive a confirmation that it was submitted successfully, you should also get an email of the confirmation.
Step 9: Once you have verified the emails, click on Edit Layout
Step 10: Add the Email Validation Result field to the Fields to View column

C. Delete the selected list(s)
Step 1: Go to Settings
Step 2: Go to Add Contacts
Step 3: Go to Manage Imported Lists
Step 4: Select the list or lists you would like to delete
Step 5: Confirm by clicking the GO button.
