Using your account with RingCentral, you can click to dial any phone number and automatically send text messages via SalesNexus CRM and Marketing Automation. Now you can manage call lists, tasks AND instantly send text messages with one click using SalesNexus and RingCentral. Watch a quick video to see how it works!
Before you begin, you'll need to make sure you have authorized RingCentral SMS in SalesNexus.
Step 1: Creating Your Text Campaign
Now, on the bottom left you'll see an option to add an Email, SMS or Call from a dropdown menu. Choose SMS and then click Add.
Now you'll be taken to the SMS Text Template Editor.
This is where you'll create the new text message you'll be sending out OR choose to Reuse an Existing Text Template that you've created before.
For your first time, click Create New, and fill out the Template Name, Days After and text message, clicking save when completed.Change the Days After function if you don't want the text message to go out on the day it's scheduled for.
- 0 days = the text goes out on the day it is scheduled for
- 1 day = the text goes out the day after it was scheduled to go out
Contact merge fields are in the dropdowns to the right labeled Add Contact Field.
This is where you can merge in your contact's information stored in your SalesNexus database such as first name, phone number, company, website, etc.
Your Personal Merge Fields (your company, your name, your phone number) are under the Add My Record Field dropdown.
Once you are satisfied with your message, click Save at the bottom of the page to add the text template to your campaign.
We've saved your new text template, but now we need to save your campaign!
So next, name your Campaign at the top of the page.
Lastly, click Save Campaign Only to finalize your new campaign.
And that's it! You've created your first text campaign. Simple, right?
The sky is the limit with this, so get creative with it - add more text messages to the campaign, or experiment by bringing some emails and calls into the mix. There's no limit to how many emails, texts, or calls you can add to a campaign.
Lastly, if you want to reuse an existing Text Template, click to add an SMS message on the campaign screen, navigate to the Reuse Existing Tab, and search for your Template name. Then click save to add it to the campaign.
